We’ve all done it. You put the hose in the trough, turn on the tap, and think “I’ll just quickly muck out this stable…”
Twenty minutes later, you’re standing in a muddy lake wondering how much water you’ve just wasted. Again.
I’m Belle, and this was my life. One too many arguments with Jason (my husband, co-founder, and champion yard-flooder). Kids stuck in the mud around the troughs – again. The look on Jason’s face every time he discovered another overflowed container was almost as annoying as the flooded yard itself.
Someone had to do something…
So I took matters into my own hands and spent five years developing SealStop. And during those five years of research, testing, and (let’s be honest) more flooded yards, I learned something that made me realize this wasn’t just about domestic peace – it was about something much bigger.
The Problem None of Us Want to Talk About
Here’s the uncomfortable truth: By 2030 – just five years away – seven regions across England will face severe water stress. Parts of East Anglia and Southern England are already so water-stressed they’re restricting new housing developments.

After flooding our yard one too many times, I looked for something – anything – that would let me fill containers without standing there watching. There was nothing.
So I created SealStop.
It’s brilliantly simple: a portable ballcock for your hosepipe. Attach it, drop it in your trough or container, and walk away. When the water reaches the right level, it stops automatically. No electricity. No fuss.

Easy to order and quick delivery. Product works well to help stop buckets overflowing whilst filling unattended. Can be a little tricky to balance on the side of the bucket as the weight of the hose can pull it out of position, but as long as it’s set up correctly each time it works really well. I wouldn’t want to leave the tap turned on all the time with this as, when it stops the water, the pressure build up can pop the hose off the tap, but it’s great for leaving a bucket to fill whilst mucking out a stable.

What a fantastic product. This has saved me so much time, I can leave my bucket to fill and go off and do my other jobs without having to worry about flooding the yard! Would highly recommend to anyone who is always forgetting about the hose like me!
